Please join us on Saturday, April 11, 2026 for Explore SF State Day!
The Department of Physics & Astronomy will have a table on the quad where you can meet the Department Chair Joseph Barranco. Come ask any questions you may have about our degree programs.
Professors Huizhong Xu and& Weining Man will lead lab tours of our experimental physics research laboratories, including our laser labs.
Prof. Charli Sakari will give planetarium shows in the Charles F. Hagar Planetarium.
