Poster-Making Session for Stand Up for Science Rally
Overview
Science is at a critical crossroads, and we need YOUR voice.
Research funding is under unprecedented threat. Climate change solutions, evidence-based policy, and scientific innovation are being challenged like never before. But we have the power to push back - and it starts with you.
🌍 POSTER MAKING SESSION When: This Wednesday, March 5, 12-1 PM Where: Hensill Hall 525, What to Bring: Poster board or cardboard (we have some, but could use more), creativity, passion, and your commitment to scientific progress
🚨 SCIENCE MARCH When: Friday, 1-3 PM Where: Civic Center Plaza What to Bring: Your poster, your voice, and your desire for a fact-driven future
Why This Matters:
- Research funding supports groundbreaking discoveries
- Climate solutions require sustained scientific investigation
- Evidence-based policy protects our communities and planet
- Your participation signals that science matters
Whether you're a student, researcher, faculty member, or staff - your presence makes a difference. We're not just making posters. We're creating a movement that says science is essential, climate action is critical, and knowledge is our most powerful tool.
Let's stand together. Let's march for science.
See you Wednesday and Friday!
